Flowers in Tokyo(Part1)

The Cherry blossoms finally bloomed in my town.
(8.April 2011)

My town is Kunitachi City in Tokyo.(Kunitachi=国立=くにたち City=市=shi=し)
There are many cherry trees in my town.
This flower is called Sakura in Japanese. cherry trees=Sakura=桜=さくら

This street is called Sakuradoori.

sakura=桜=さくら doori=通り=どおり=street

"Sakura" means cherry trees."doori"  means street or avenue.
Because cherry trees form a line a lot, this street is called so it.

Look→http://clearstreamjapan.blogspot.com/2011/02/spring-has-come-in-japan.html

Everywhere of Kunitachi city, cherry trees blooms.
And a mom is happy and excited than a child.

At the baseball field near my house, cherry trees bloomed.

Under the cherry tree, there are people seeing cherry blossoms calmly.

For an old man, it is the time when the flower viewing with the grandchild is happy.

Other flowers bloom, too, but do not attract attention very much. She will feel a cherry tree disagreeable.

Moms gather and see cherry blossoms.

This scenery is called 'Hanami'.   Hanami=花見=はなみ Hana=花=flower mi=見=seeing
In the middle of Hanami, we drink liquor and tea and eat.

Because they are with child, these moms do not drink the liquor.

It is slightly lonely to perform 'Hanami' only in men…

The quiet hanami of the old couple and their dog.

Various types of cherry trees bloomed.

Young and old, everybody take the photograph of the cherry tree with a cell-phone and a digital camera.

She is like a professional!(and cute)

Everybody enjoys it to see a cherry tree while walking.
(It is a person of hay fever to wear a mask.)

The Starbucks is in the front row, too.

The cake of the cherry tree is sold, too.
The branch of the cherry tree which he has is an artifact.
We must not break the branch of the cherry tree.

From a pedestrian bridge, the people can overlook  university street.

This is university street that called 'Daigakudoori'.

Daigakudoori=大学通り Daigaku=大学=だいがく=university      Doori=通り=どおり=Street

The street of Sakura and Ginkgo。

These cherry trees were planted in commemoration of the birth of His Majesty the Emperor in 1934〜1935.

When a university street is dyed pink, we realize that  spring come.

And We do Hanami, drink liquor and are sorry the next day…….

Next bolg is 'Flower in Tokyo(Part2)'
A photograph below is a hint.

1,Setsuden means 'saving energy'.
   節電 節(setsu) = saving  電(den) = electricity

We  japanese, wasted electricity until March 11.

The earthquake and the nuclear plant accident might be The Revelation from God.
It was The Revelation forced to much sacrifice.....
So I intended to save electricity as much as possible and made this T-shirt.

Teaching of Buddha

諸悪莫作 衆善奉行   (syo aku maku sa)  (syuu zen bu gyou)

This is teaching of Buddha.
諸悪莫作 (syo aku maku sa) 諸=Various 悪=evil or bad thing 莫=not 作=do →Do not what is evil.
衆善奉行 (syuu zen bu gyou) 衆=Many 善=good 奉=heartily 行=do→Do what is good.

These are the basis of the Buddhism. Is it too natural?but the most difficult.(^_^)
